A World Renowned Engineer and Inventor

- Recipient of the prestigious Royal Seal of Norway Award for Engineering, which is considered to be the equivalent of the Nobel Prize in the maritime industry.
- Designed and developed the first “Afterburner” which is still used today as a standard technology on all jet aircraft.
- Helped to design and then developed the first ‘CV Joint”, which is standard on all front-wheel drive vehicles. Land Rover was the first to embrace this technology advancement.
- Developed the first “Air Slat”, which is on almost every airplane. It is the portion of the front wings which extends down before landing, allowing the plane to reduce its speed before landing.
- Designed and developed the first “Thrust Tubes”, which are standard on most supersonic jets, also while working for Rolls Royce
- Developed two highly classified “Chase Boat” for the U.S. Customs Department, which continue to be among the fastest boats on the planet. This same propulsion system is now being utilized in certain war ships by the military both in the US and the UK.
- Invented technology that is pertinent to some of the early hovercrafts and also extensively used for the Harrier Jet for stabilization, which is the only vertical lift plane in the world.
- Designed and developed a superior windmill model which was first installed for the U.S. Department of Energy in 1987 in St. Croix in the Virgin Islands.
- Developed and designed the revolutionary Holden HP Turbine for hydropower applications, essentially single handedly contributing the most significant advance in hydro power technology in the last century.
- Has designed, developed, contributed and assisted in approximately a hundred other patented and relevant technologies over the last 63 years, with the first patent having been filed in 1948.
- Served as the lead researcher and inventor for Rolls Royce for over 23 years.
- Served in the OSS (today known as the SAS), with the UK forces and then attached as a special liaison with the Australian and US forces during the Korean and Vietnam wars.
- Parachuted into North Korea and “sequestered” a Russian MIG and flew it back to the NATO forces. His bravery eventually helped the West win the conflict during the Cold War years.
- Flew a Concorde Jet (classified military version) into sub-space, at the time being the fastest plane in the world exceeding 4000 mph (over Mach 6, or more than 6 times the speed of sound)
- Decorated as a Top Gun pilot who designed and then flew his own classified airplane designs.
- Led teams in 17 different missions behind enemy lines during the Vietnam war over a 5 year period, resulting in the rescue of over 500 prisoners of war.
- Assisted on the original global positioning system design and implementation now used throughout the modern world.
- Worked on and contributed to numerous classified projects and technologies for the US Government and NASA, some of which are still protected and classified.
